Join us for a Dementia Friends Information Session at the Western Allegheny Community Library!

You do not need to be an expert, have prior knowledge, or know someone living with dementia to become a Dementia Friend! Join us for a one-hour session led by a Dementia Friends Champion. At the end of the Session, you will be able to:

• Describe dementia
• Know the most common type of dementia
• Understand five key messages about dementia
• Learn ways to effectively communicate with a person living with dementia

All attendees will receive a workbook, resource packet, and Dementia Friends certificate.
