The virtual Dementia Live® experiential training will take place from 1:00-1:30pm. Dementia Live® is a high impact, dementia simulation experience that immerses participants into life with dementia, resulting in a deeper understanding of what it's like to live with cognitive impairment and sensory change. For this piece of the virtual event, attendees will need to have with them: a pair of sunglasses, a pair of gloves, a glass of water or other beverage of choice, your wallet, paper, pen, paper clip, sticky notes, cell phone, and a magazine

The virtual Dementia Friends Information Session will take place from 1:30-2:30pm. During this friendly and interactive virtual session, you will increase your understanding of dementia, and learn about the small things that you can do to make a difference for people living with dementia in your community. Handouts accompanying the virtual session will be emailed following registration.
